I first discovered art when I was six years old and confined to bed for months with Rheumatic Fever. I began tracing imaginary scenes using the lines on the wooden headboard.
My serious journey into creating art began after graduation from the San Francisco Art Institute. Since then I have been in both group and one-man shows in the U.S. and Canada, using various kinds of media techniques and found items.
I love to draw and particularly enjoy cartoons and collage. I hope you enjoy the work that is shown on this site.
Thank you for visiting. I hope you will come back often as we are adding new items all the time.
My work is available as prints, notecards, t-shirts and tote bags through my REDBUBBLE site:

Cartoons are really stories told in shorthand. As an artist and writer they give me the opportunity to utilize both methods of expression.
Plus, they're a whole lot of fun to create!
Collage is a wonderful exercise in welding completely diverse objects and images together, often including found items. Items that were cast aside as useless often find new life in my collages.
I've always loved drawing and try to do some every day. However, creating art on a regular basis is not a new concept. The Greek philosopher Pliny the Elder (AD 23/24 – 79) originated the idea of "Not A Day Without A Line" and applied it to the daily practice of the Greek painter Apelles. It was also a favorite of Beethoven’s. Impressive mentors to be sure.
